The University of Murcia organizes the first international symposium on the sociology of the words (30/11/2011)

The research group Lacelle Department of English at the University of Murcia, which is led by Professor Aquilino Sanchez, held on 1 and 2 December, the first International Symposium on the Sociology of Words.

The meeting, organized in collaboration with the group Lexicom bring together leading experts nationally and internationally on the lexical meaning and computational treatment that will address the study of words in relation to its surroundings: other words, sentences, paragraphs and texts.

The rector of the University of Murcia, Jose Antonio Cobacho will chair tomorrow, Thursday 1, the opening ceremony to be held in the Chamber of Arts, Merced campus, from 9:00 am.
