The University of Murcia has implemented an automatic free bike for all the students who have the smart card of this institution, unique card transport and electronic ID.
The project has six new auto loan with twenty beds each bike.
They are located at the main entrances of the faculties of Education, Communication and Documentation and biology, along with the North Classroom Building, all in Espinardo campus and across from the School of Law, on the campus of the Merced, and the School of Tourism, in the Paseo del Malecón de Murcia.
This service is part of the Sustainable Campus Initiative and the empowerment of the same University has purchased 150 bicycles.
This project has been implemented in collaboration with the Regional Energy Agency of the Region of Murcia (ARGEM) and the Public Transport Authority.
