The Hall of Humanities of Vice President for University Extension and e-Government at the University of Murcia, organized to coincide with the twenty-fifth anniversary of his death, a tribute to Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges (1899-1986).
The initiative includes the recital "Fervor of memory", to be held on November 30th at 18'30 pm in the auditorium of the Campus de la Merced, and will be led by Professors Vincent Salinas and Maria Dolores Cervera Adsuar Fernandez.
The next day, Thursday December 1st at 18'30 pm and held a conference hall of the College Francisco Rabal Azarbe, in which, under the title "Memory Maker", teachers intervene Rosa Pellicer (University Zaragoza) Castany Bernat (University of Barcelona) and Vicente Cervera (Universidad de Murcia).
Borges was named Doctor Honoris Causa by the University of Murcia in November 1985, a distinction that could not collect, then died six months later, before you reach the ceremony of the academic doctorate.
