As has become customary, the musical group The Muses of Guadalupe held a concert commemorating the feast of St. Cecilia, patron saint of music.
The new Municipal Auditorium is the place to Guadalupe to celebrate the school band concert and the band headline.
The councilman of Culture, Rafael Gomez, attended this morning concert that took place after the traditional parade through the district to collect the different members of the musical group The Muses.
In 1594 Santa Cecilia was named patron saint of music by Pope Gregory XIII, and through the centuries, his figure has been revered by humanity for that sponsorship.
His feast day is November 22, which corresponds with his birth and has been adopted worldwide as the Day of Music.
Sponsorship of music was awarded for demonstrating an irresistible attraction to the melodic line of instruments.
His sensitive spirit and passion for this art and his name became a symbol of music.
