The Governing Board approved the tender to install this facility near the playground

The Malecon Garden will have a new facility that will serve a dual mission: to create jobs and revitalize this botanical garden.

The Board of Governors approved the specifications for the granting of a facility, coffee bar type in the Garden of the Malecón

So this green area, dating from 1845, will feature a local recreational, recreation and leisure, as it already has the Garden of Fame.

According to the specifications, the establishment will occupy a plot of up to 200 m2, and next to the playground, of which a maximum of 100 m2 is earmarked for occupation by the establishment, including the platform, and the rest up to another 100 m2 will be able to allocate the use of terrace with tables and chairs.

Thus, the government team claims that this kiosk involves the greater use and enjoyment of the citizens of the Malecon Garden becoming a place of recreation for the family and social life of the residents of Murcia.

Its implementation will result in the greatest welfare of the citizens, are suitable in view of the customs, weather conditions, demand for this type of site for social interaction and citizenship as well as in terms of benefits such as tourism will bring the municipality.

The specification states that are particularly valued integration with the environment (use of materials, colors and textures, volumetric, circulation, service access, etc ...) and environmental quality of the architectural proposal (passive cooling strategies, use of the orientation and natural ventilation, use of environmentally friendly materials and clean technologies and sustainable air conditioning, etc ....).

The deadline for implementation of the proposed works for the construction of the facilities subject to the authorization and the total operation is set in twelve months while the duration of the lease shall be twenty years,

The minimum annual fee is set out in 7000.00 euros, plus 18% VAT, making a total of 8260.00 euros.
