José María Álvarez, a poet, essayist and writer, today introduced two books in the University and Murcia: his book "The dark leopards of the moon" and "The glow of desire (Poetic Anthology)" Konstantinos Cavafy "in editing and translating José María Álvarez.
José María Álvarez rose to fame in 1970, joining the famous book of Castellet "Nine newest Spanish poets," in which incorporated with the greatest poets in those times, with names such as Vázquez Montalbán, Pere Gimferrer, Vicente Molina Leopoldo Maria Panero Foix.
His best known work is "Wax Museum", a work that has been growing over time (the last edition 2002) and brings together much of their production of three decades.
Alvarez has developed an extensive career as a translator, having charge of translating the complete works of Cavafy Konstantino and others of Robert Louis Stevenson, TS Eliot and William Shakespeare.
Today, Monday, November 21, presented at the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Arts, at 19.30 pm, his latest work and a recent translation of Cavafy Konstantino.
The event is organized pore Poetry Classroom, University of Murcia, and involves José María Alvarez, Denise Garcia and Isabelle G.
