The head of the Liver Transplant Unit of the Hospital La Fe, winner in the "Heart Solidarity" (17/11/2011)

Pallardó Jose Mir, head of the Surgery and Liver Transplantation Hospital "La Fe" in Valencia, yesterday received the award "Heart Solidarity 2011", which calls Murcian Transplant Association (ADEMTRA) in collaboration with the University of Murcia.

The award, national, rewards individuals or entities who have distinguished themselves by their dedication to the promotion of organ donation or support for people awaiting transplants or transplants.

During the ceremony, presided over l rector of the University, José Antonio Cobacho were delivered to Dr. Mir Pallardó a sculpture by Salvador Susarte ciezano.

The event, held in the building Convalescence, also took the managing director of Health Service of Murcia, Jose Antonio Alarcón, the president of ADEMTRA, Jose Angel Sanchez, and the rector of Coordination and Communication, María Ángeles Esteban.
