The City contributes to the federated athletes participate in official competitions

The Department of Sports of the Municipality of Murcia, headed by Miguel Cascales, continues to drive the practice of sports such as athletics award a grant to Athletics Club Murcia.

The Municipal Corporation has been providing support to projects of sports clubs for the permanence of their teams in official competitions, dissemination and promotion of physical activity practice.

Athletics Club Murcia is involved in Sports School Age of the Department of Sports, and offer lectures and conferences to raise awareness of athletics and encourage young people to practice this discipline.
