The Cultural Center hosts the exhibition El Carmen Foundation Vicente Ferrer 'Committed to Anantapur', which presents the development program that the Foundation conducted in Anantapur region of India to eradicate poverty in this area of ​​the country.
Councilmember Equality Policy and Development Cooperation, Alicia Barquero, opened the exhibition tomorrow at 18 hours.
Through photographs, visitors can learn about different areas of activity of the Foundation: education, health, housing, ecology, women and persons with disabilities.
This also is about the reality of India to all persons sensitized to developing countries.
The exhibition is part of the events organized by the Department of Social Welfare and Health, directed by María del Carmen Pelegrin, and Equality Policy and Development Cooperation, who runs Alicia Barquero, to mark the International Day for the Eradication of Violence against Women, which aims to raise awareness and to promote public awareness of gender equality and prevent violence against women.
The exhibition will be open until November 30, from Monday to Friday from 10.00 to 13.00 and from 17.00 to 21.00.
