Two projects supported by the Local Agency for Energy Murcia (GERMAN) have been awarded National Awards in Energy III, organized by the Association of Spanish Agency for Energy Management (EnerAgen) which aim to promote the use of Renewable Energies and Rational Use of Energy and Energy Efficiency across the country.

This award, given last Thursday and were collected by the manager of German, María Cruz Ferreira, who have gone to:

- Best performance in terms of awareness and dissemination.

SOS 4.8 Festival, sponsored by Legal Music.

Candidacy endorsed by ALEM.

- Best Achievement in the field of energy (savings, renewable or broadcast): Energy efficiency and sustainable strategy in the waters of Murcia, promoted by the Municipal Water and Sanitation Murcia.

Candidacy endorsed by ALEM.

- Best Performance in the Savings and Energy Efficiency: Bioclimatic, sponsored by the Foundation Sotavento Galicia.

Candidacy endorsed by INEGA.

- Honorable Mention: Injection of hydrogen / methane in diesel engines, sponsored by the Logistics Association of Murcia.

Candidacy endorsed by ARGEM.

- Best Performance in Renewable Energy: Carballo methane, biogas production promoted by Carballo Candidacy endorsed by FAEPAC SL.

- Honorable Mention: Eureners, transnational cooperation to promote renewable energy and energy efficiency in rural areas, promoted by the Teder Association.

Candidacy endorsed by PMSA.

The prize is endowed financially with the amount of 2,000 euros for the winner of each category.

Consists EnerAgen Management Agencies Energy municipal, intermunicipal, regional or state, and its main purpose is to promote and strengthen the role of energy agencies at any level, especially in Spain and the European Union respecting the scope of competence of each, thus promoting rational energy use, energy efficiency and diversifying energy sources, mainly renewables.
