The youth of El Palmar and vicinity will have a new space next month when it opens the new Youth Center.
The facility will be the permanent home of at least eight youth organizations in the district, and develop its activities other entities.
Youth Councillor, Miguel Cascales, visited this afternoon the center of town accompanied by the headman, Diego López Alcaraz.
Work on the new youth space are completely finished, furnished and small details are being finalized.
The new Youth Center is among the Athens streets and Avenida Las Palmeras (Distilleries back to Bernal).
It has an area of ​​1,200 square meters and has a floor exhibition hall, multipurpose room, hall, storage, dressing rooms, offices, computer room, hotel associations, toilets and reception area.
In addition, the entrance is a large covered patio to be used for multiple activities.
The building will house a climbing wall.
The Youth Center is fully accessible for people with disabilities.
The project has been carried out by Urbamusa.
The investment in this work is one million euros, funded by the State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability.
This new Municipal Center, which will become a landmark in the city, adds to the supply of Youth Spaces 585 meters square, Santa María de Gracia, La Nave, in Bacons Bridge, and Accessible Youth Center being built Juan de Borbon.
The Youth Council and youth associations in El Palmar are designing the program of activities, starting with the opening of the center early next month.
