The Catholic University San Antonio (UCAM) and the National Evaluation of Research Activity (CNEAI), an agency of the General Secretariat of Universities of the Ministry of Education responsible for teacher evaluation research in public universities, recently signed an agreement mutual cooperation through which the UCAM voluntarily submit research activities of its faculty research, evaluation of this body, like all public universities.
The Vice Chancellor for Research UCAM, Estrella Nunez, weighed positively the signing of this agreement and noted that the evaluation of researchers from the UCAM CNEAI an internal review committee at national level, guarantee the quality of the University Catholic, and contributes effectively to consolidating its reputation as a university researcher.
"In the UCAM are aware that in a competitive environment such as the university research sector, appropriate to the context of Bologna and the European Space of Higher Education, the University should be measured by the same standards of quality public universities, so want to be evaluated by the same official commission and with the same criteria as other universities in the country. "
Nunez explained that researchers at the UCAM, to serve six years of research activity and complete what is called a six-year researcher CNEAI forward to the relationship of the merits researchers harvested during that period, for evaluation.
"If the evaluation is positive, the CNEAI issue a certificate of personal fitness research voluntarily submitted to evaluation, which will be recognized and officially awarded the work done during that time, based on common national assessment criteria that everyone understands ".
