The University of Murcia open tomorrow, November 8th, the exhibition of winning works and selected in the XII Arts Painting Prize, an award sponsored by the Fundación Vicente Fuentes.

The event will take place in the pillared hall of the Palace Almudí to 20.30 hours.

The sample consists of a score of works selected from the 119 submitted to the contest this year, at which the winner Mariano Carrera edition Blázquez, better known as Dis Berlin, for his "Cantos: Metaphysics."

Also present will be the two runners-up: "Remembering Le Voyeur", Simon Zabell (Malaga), and "Interior" by David Martinez Calderon (Jaén).

The Jury Prize for Painting XII was composed of the Rector of the University of Murcia José Antonio Gómez Cobacho as Honorary President, Juan Manuel Bonet, writer and art critic, painter Antón Patiño Perez, Soledad Sevilla Jaén Portillo and Rosa Brun and as Martin Burruezo Paez, director Almudí Palace Arts Center of Murcia, acting as secretary Carmen Veas Arteseros, Technical Service Culture at the University of Murcia.
