In order to recognize companies that have contributed to reducing the gender gap in the field laboratory, on September 23 decree was approved by the Councillor for Equality Policy and Development Cooperation, Alice Waterman, the creation of the Prize "Equality in Business".
This award is proposed as a specific measure for achieving Objective 1.3.1 Axis 2 of the Municipal Plan for Equal Opportunities between Women and Men for the proposed implementation of the measure: 1.3.1.B.
Creation of the annual award "Equality in Business" to recognize those businesses that have contributed further momentum to reduce the gender gap in employment, and enhance the work life balance, personal and family among employees " .
The Award Company Equity is a positive impact on the elimination of gender inequalities in access, working conditions and labor rights in companies based in the municipality, and therefore the recognition that Local Government makes the companies that meet and improve labor standards guaranteeing the rights of equal opportunities between women and men and the rights of work-life balance work, family and staff working people.
The company that for good practice and innovation in the measures for gender equality, is winner of the Enterprise Equity, will be valued positively, with the highest score in the competition for the procurement of services, works and / or supplies, to call the City of Murcia.
