A study of the optical quality of bull, held at the University of Murcia, has won the award for best science communication from those presented at the Tenth Symposium of the bull, which was held in the town of Zafra Badajoz.
The scientific committee of the meeting praised the results of this research, which has been well received by both veterinary scientists and professionals of the bull.
The authors have indicated that this work is a first step in characterizing the bull's eye, PEO added that the results already obtained will be useful to understand the behavior of this animal in environments as diverse as the open field and the ring as well as the analysis of reactions to certain stimuli.
This distinction is convened by the Regional Council of Extremadura Veterinary College.
The study had the participation of teachers Juan Manuel Bueno, a member of the Laboratory of Optics of the University of Murcia, and also teachers of this institution Juan Seva, Francisco and Manuel Martinez Gomariz Sanes, these last three, veterinarians also the Plaza de Toros de Murcia.
