The University of Murcia has installed photovoltaic panels on the roofs of six faculties Espinardo campus, which will represent a power output equivalent to the annual consumption of 1,146 homes.
The plates installed in the North Classroom Building and faculties of Fine Arts, Optics, Computer Science, Psychology and social workers will mean also a clear environmental benefit in reducing encryption 1,500 tonnes of CO2 a year.
It has also completed the installation in the parking Social Center, Faculty of Labour Sciences and Social Work and environment of the School of Computing, the three on the campus of Espinardo, photovoltaic solar panels.
In addition, facilities have been renovated Albatross Wing of Mercy Lecture and classroom open "Neblí" Nebrija Library, works in addition to those made this summer when expanded classrooms in the building Giner Rivers, Saavedra Fajardo and Lecture de la Merced.
Another action taken by the Vice President of Finance and Infrastructure is the implementation in all campus art chlorinators for drinking water treatment.
Finally, the Faculty of Fine Arts already has a cafeteria open to the public.
