The University of Murcia has signed an agreement with the Circle of economics at establishing channels for collaboration between the two entities in the development of training, research and socio-cultural.
The president of the association of managers and executives, Jesus Pacheco, said in the signing ceremony, held in convalescence, that the agreement will allow the Circle "exploit the potential of the University of Murcia in R and R + D ".
He added Pacheco, the agreement contemplates the creation of a Chair in Strategy, Transparency and Competitiveness, which would "support to executives of technology companies (owned by the university), who have the knowledge, but sometimes they lack experience in business management. "
The rector of the University, José Antonio Cobacho, stressed the value of a collaboration that affects, in his view, the great unfinished business of Spanish scientific activity: the transfer of the results of research done in universities to company.
"We must continue improving the connection to the business world, and this agreement is in that line," said the rector.
The event was attended by representatives of the association and the University, including the promoter of the collaboration, Professor Antonio Montes.
