The Italian Giovanni Ercolani offers his personal view of the city of Istanbul (19/10/2011)

The Italian Giovanni Ercolani, professor at the University of British Notthingam-Trent, will deliver tomorrow, Thursday 20, a conference on the city of Istanbul, which has lived for twenty years in the cycle of the University of Murcia on the Mediterranean cities.

Ercolani, who has worked in Turkey and International Security Advisor to the NATO base in Izmir has, is passionate about history and culture of the Ottoman country and its largest city.

During the conference, which will be at 19:30 pm in the University Museum, a former artillery barracks, Ercolani show some of the photographs on Istanbul has taken over the years.
