San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) and Banco Santander on Tuesday ratified an agreement October 18 mutual collaboration.
The agreement was signed by the president of the UCAM, Jose Luis Mendoza, and by the Deputy Director General and Regional Director for the Region of Murcia, Santander Bank, Julian Parraga.
The agreement includes a framework of collaboration between both parties for the development of teaching, research and academic community, through initiatives in education, technological and institutional, in order to provide better service to the university community and with In general, the whole society.
Also, note that as a result of this agreement, and are developing various projects and programs, such as mobility grants for teachers and students, and the issuance of the University Smart Card (TUI), a university card developed by Bank Santander, which incorporates the latest developments in chip technology, which adjusts its features and benefits to specific needs arising from the Catholic University of Murcia.
Banco Santander has extensive experience in providing this service and, at present, about 4.7 million students from more than 200 universities use a card developed by the bank in collaboration with the university.
