The assembly hall of the Faculty of Informatics, University of Murcia had hosted a training day on the transition to the new Internet protocol, IPv6.
Organized by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade and taught by the world expert on IPv6 Jordi Palet, the theoretical and practical day was attended by over 150 people, who knew technical details of the new protocol and its differences with the current IPv4.
IPv6, the new version of Internet protocol, is to solve the address exhaustion of the current protocol, IPv4, and any organization that is not an urgent plan to incorporate IPv6 into their online services (websites, electronic appliances, etc.). , could incur losses for a few months in business, not being accessible by Internet users, both from Spain and from other parts of the world.
