Councilmember Equality Policy and Development Cooperation, Alicia Barquero, this morning visited the Children and Youth Centre Pupaclown Scenic.
Those responsible for the performance space, Pepa Shipyards, Juan Pedro Romera and Pancho Shipyard, have led the City Council for the theater which opened in December last year.
It is a space with capacity for 300 spectators, totally adapted to who may witness the children and youth works with all types of disabilities.
It has space for wheelchairs, and even beds, cabin audio description for blind children, infrared screens to improve hearing and deaf children sign language interpreters.
The Center is fully adapted Scenic and has special clubhouse for artists with disabilities.
The goal is to integrate children and youth with disabilities in a standardized environment.
The center's program offers entertainment for schools, which are held Monday through Friday with two daily functions.
And plays on weekends so that children can attend a family.
The program officially opens this weekend with the play 'The Three Little Pigs, "a version of Juan Pedro Romero, who has turned the theater into a large forest with a special decoration.
In addition, Pupaclown is working to hold workshops in the center for children and youth with disabilities, and have special programming for babies from 0 to 3 years.
The parcel on which is the Center was transferred to Scenic Pupaclown by the City of Murcia for the construction of the theater.
