Green Cars at the University of Murcia participate in the Solar Race (14/10/2011)

UMU-VESOS team at the University of Murcia involved these days in the Solar Race Murcia Region, held from yesterday to Sunday at the Cartagena circuit speed.

The University of Murcia competes with two prototypes, the "Fusang", powered entirely by photovoltaic solar energy, and the "Salzillo III", which uses ethanol in an internal combustion engine conventional alternative.

The Solar Race Murcia Region is a competition that seeks to promote the use of solar and other forms of energy less aggressive to the environment in the automotive field.
