The School of Social Work at the University of Murcia and the Platform of volunteers from the region have opened the term, which runs until November 11, admission of applications to XII Anonymous Solidarity Award, which convened two entities.
The award is intended to recognize the solidarity activity, humanitarian and selfless routinely performed by individuals resident in the Region of Murcia and have not to date received public acclaim.
Candidates must be nominated by individuals or legal entities that may be delivered or sent by certified mail the nomination to the Faculty of Social Work, Campus Espinardo, or Volunteer Platform (calle Princesa, 2, Murcia).
In the month of December this year, coinciding with the commemoration of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, held a public act of presenting the award, consisting of a sculpture by Antonio Campillo.
The general secretary of the University, Joaquín Lomba, today presided over the building of the Rectory in the presentation of the Prize, which was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Enrique Pastor, and President of the Platform, Roberto Barceló.
During the act has been stressed that this is an award established and publicly recognized, as evidenced by the more than fifty applications submitted during the twelve years of the prize.
