The University of Murcia delivers more than 700 software components to non-profit (10/10/2011)

The University of Murcia has provided over 347 computers 2010-2011 academic year, 300 monitors and 48 printers to NGOs and other nonprofit entities Spanish and developing countries, as well as projects in the educational institution.

The deliveries are part of the "Reciclato", launched in 2003 by the University of Murcia to reuse and assemble computer components even in conditions.

Furthermore, "Reciclato" is also responsible for disposing of non-reusable electronic equipment from both the University and individuals, reaching during the past year to send 21,555 kilos of this material to the waste treatment plant.
