The doctoral thesis by Salvador Martinez Lopez at the University of Murcia has received the Foundation Award Gomez Pardo in the specialty of Earth Sciences, which draws national level the Royal Academy of Doctors in Spain.
The research study, who led the teachers Carmen Pérez Sirvent and Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez, discusses the role of arsenic in marine influenced soils and semiarid environments.
The award ceremony will be held Oct. 19 at the Ministry of Education (Madrid).
