San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) has jumped the borders of Europe, and has opened two educational centers in Cuba, the capital of Havana.
Both sites are dedicated solely to areas of postgraduate (Masters and PhD programs), a Cultural Center in San Juan de Letran, center belonging to the Dominican order where he teaches the Master of Social Development, and the newly opened headquarters Felix Varela, located in the building of the Cathedral of Havana with an MBA program where the Cardinal Jaime Ortega has given space to develop programs through a UCAM Business School.
With two graduate programs in Havana and in collaboration with the Church and Cuban professors at the University of Havana (ULH), the UCAM has begun its expansion in graduate Cuba.
Commenting on the launch of the first programs of Master of Social Development and Business Administration, the Vice Chancellor of University Extension, Antonio Alcaraz, said that "it is an important experience for both the UCAM, to the Cuban city and who has marked a milestone for all unprecedented. "
UCAM board members have made numerous visits and have had several meetings with members of the Church of the country, the Ministry of Higher Education, the nation's public universities and religious orders, gaining wide acceptance for the proposals based channeled to a graduate with national and international in Cuba in the Caribbean and Latin American environment.

The Vice President, who is now monitoring the health of students, faculty, and new programs, stressed that is planned by the Catholic University to implement new international doctoral programs with the University of Havana:

Institutional Communication and Journalism
Sport, Physical Education and Health (the latter with the support of Deputy Sports Minister, Alberto Juantorena, who recently visited the UCAM to view the status of projects).
Each program will have an International PhD Thesis director UCAM and co-director of the University of Havana, with a limited total of 20 seats per year for each program.
Places are woodcocks and financed jointly by the UCAM and ULH, and the thesis will be read by the best students in the country.
Inauguration of MBA Program
For his part, Vice Dean of Administration and Management (ADE) of the Catholic University of Murcia, Gonzalo Wandosell, will be responsible for directing the course of MBA in the American city with the Cuban Lenier Gonzalez local academic coordinator.
It was opened on Monday with 45 students from around the country, executives, and pre-selected from more than 300 applications.
In this program has 8 teachers from Cuba, and another 8 of the UCAM traveling to complement and coordinate the modules of the same.
A total of over 30 teachers in the country and 25 of the UCAM and throughout Spain which have adhered to the various initiatives of both sites.
