The Socialist Party, Greens and United Left will defend UPyD a joint motion in Parliament tomorrow, Thursday asking for an amendment of the Rules of the House.
The objective of this initiative - they say-is to prevent the majority party limits the right of proposal and involve other local groups to raise alternative motions that have nothing to do, in many cases, with the subject to be treated.
And is that the current regulation allows organic-continue-along present plenary amendments and alternative initiatives without notice and without their having been previously accepted by the political party that proposed the original motion.
Spokesmen for the three political formations, Pedro López, Esther and Ruben Serna Herguedas agree that the current regulation favors the majority party.
"When our initiatives come to the House are replaced, in many cases, the PP alternative motions that have nothing to do with our initial proposals. This certainly hurts our democratic representation implies a decline in participation", end
