Castle gate with the Association Hundred Eyes continues the cycle of conferences with notable photographers from the national scene Greenhouse project.
Tomorrow, 29 to 20 hours with the intervention of the photographer and social anthropologist Xavier Ribas.
His look has captured the essence and no peripheral areas of large cities and all the microcosm that is developed there, along with the contemporary decadence that we are leaving spaces filled with highways, industrial parks and shopping centers.
Places that paradoxically convey a sense of freedom and peace that hard to find in the crowded cities.
His work also explores the thin lines between rich and poor physical, creating a disturbing walls mapping policies in the XXI century.

Xavier Ribas studied Social Anthropology at the University of Barcelona (1990) and Documentary Photography at Newport School of Art and Design (1993).
He has published two monographs of his work: Xavier Ribas (University of Salamanca, 1998), work that received the revelation of Photo Spain 1998, and Sanctuary (Gustavo Gili, 2005), a book that received a Special Mention in Photo Spain 2006.
His work has been recognized in major publications such as BLINK!
100 PHOTOGRAPH ERS 10 curators.
10 WRITERS (Phaidon Press, London 2002) and PHOTO ART: PHOTOGRAPHY IN THE 21st CENTURY (Aperture, 2008).
He recently worked on art projects with the National Fund of Contemporary Art in France (FNAC), the Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona (MACBA), the International Photography Research Network (IPRN) and the Rome International Photography Festival.
Since 2000 a professor in the photography department at the University of Brighton.
