On July 1 was approved by Royal Decree Law 8 / 2011 which provides in Article 21, the mandatory technical inspection of buildings.
This Royal Decree shall come into force next summer (2012), and affect many buildings and houses in the Municipality of Murcia, which must pass the review established by this regulation.
This review will involve a cost to many families whose homes are over 50 years, and often must undertake reforms or adjustments in order to obtain certification.
For the Municipal Group of UPyD is necessary to inform himself that this measure will, on one hand, greater safety, sanitation, beautification and accessibility of buildings and on the other hand, a strong economic momentum in the construction sector and jobs related to it.
Although the Decree Law gives the responsibility to implement these inspections to the CCAA, as usual in the major Spanish municipalities is that they themselves are developed through the contents of the decree orders.
Therefore Spokesperson Councillor Ruben Juan Serna, has indicated that the motion filed by her group requested, among other things, to start a campaign to inform the neighbors with the details of the ITE (time, cost, authorized collective inspection, the date on which the building exceeds the years, funding formulas, saving convenience reform bills, etc.)..
At the same time considered necessary to enable an office in which the citizen can request information on this matter.
