15,000 youth have attended the program activities for leisure networks in the first six months of the year

Around a thousand young people participate every weekend at over 50 activities offered by the program networks for free time starting this weekend and until 17 December.

Activities for young people between 12 and 30 years, will take place over 11 weekends in different parts of the municipality in order to make them accessible to all.

In particular, will take place in community centers and 585M2 Youth Space Ship Municipal Center (Bacons Bridge), the Social Center of the UMU University (Campus de Espinardo), the districts of Patiño, Beniaján, Monteagudo and El Puntal and facilities of the IES Alfonso X the Wise, Carmen, Ramon y Cajal, Floridablanca and Monte Miravete.

All proposals for networks are free except those held outdoors, including material, freight and insurance.

During the last semester participated in networks around 15,000 young people, with an average of nearly 900 participants per weekend.

60% of participants were boys and 40% girls.
