The Casino de Murcia staff participated in a training course offered by the Department of Tourism on the occasion of Tourism Quality Sicted program.
The Casino received the award for Quality Tourism last year and is now in the process of monitoring and evaluation, which includes training activities for all staff.
It was attended by representatives of all the establishment's service areas: reception, security, maintenance, cleaning, administration and cafeteria, and that good practices are related to all elements of the organization.
During the course we worked on the surveying, a tool that allows us to find customer feedback and measure their satisfaction with the service, equipment and facilities of the establishment, also taught a module for the importance of listening to suggestions and addressing complaints customers quickly and effectively to improve care and service thanks to the thorough understanding of valuation.
The Tourist Quality Commitment Sicted proves that the establishment has implemented a manual of best practices and recognizes the quality of products and services they offer to their customers.
This improvement project is promoted by the Tourism Institute of Spain (Turespaña) and the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP).
It is implementing a participatory model that requires businesses and tourist services are committed to adhering to quality tourism destination.
The city ranks fourth nationally, with more than one hundred establishments participating in this project.
Throughout Spain there are 126 destinations and 3661 implemented by Sicted distinguished companies.
Murcia accounts for 33% of the total.
