The Plaza of the Apostles becomes the Children's Traffic Park because of the Mobility Week (20/09/2011)

More than 270 pupils take part in this activity Traffic Park moves to school tomorrow Our Lady of Sorrows of El Raal

The Plaza of the Apostles this morning has been transformed to become the Children's Traffic Park, on the occasion of the European Mobility Week, organized by the city of Murcia and the Local Agency for Energy and Climate Change.

CP School school San Juan, CP Our Lady of the Incarnation (the Ray) and CEPS Herma participate in this organized activity of the Department of Education, which directs Maria Dolores Sanchez.

Mobile Park is open from 9.30 to 13 hours for schools.

In addition, the Children's Traffic Park moves to the track tomorrow at school sporting Our Lady of Sorrows (The Raal), from 9.30 to 13.00.

Participating schools Torreteatinos CEPS centers, CP Julian Romea and CP Our Lady of Sorrows.

In total over 270 children participate.

With this activity, which increases the performances offered to schools in the municipality for the 2011-2012 academic year, aims to improve students' knowledge about the damage caused to urban mobility in the environment, using as a resource to the private car cycling, walking and public transport.

It also shows students the direct negative impact on urban pollution (noise, pollution, stress ...).

In the circuit has been organized for the Mobility Week is anticipated that the little ones:

Learn basic rules of road safety education.

Encourage collective game.

Choose places to properly use and driving of the bicycle.

Know the rules and signals relating to the conduct of the bicycle.

Develop a sense of responsibility, referring to the bicycles driving and be aware of potential danger (risk perception).

Knowing this vehicle as a means to sustainable mobility, while it is healthy

Children's Painting Competition

All infant and primary schools of the municipality may participate in the drawing competition III: The Bike, exhibiting in his work what is climate change, how will be his city Guattari to move insurance and transportation.

All municipal centers and Primary information has been sent inviting them to participate in the contest, which is the deadline for submission of drawings from 21 September to 21 October.

Awards will be established for four categories, Primary First Cycle, Second Cycle and Primary Primary Third Cycle.

Be awarded to three students per class.

With the twelve winning pictures will be a calendar for 2012.

Drawings must be unpublished, original themed and technical, material and style free.
