The eleventh photography prize Area Arts at the University of Murcia, sponsored by the Fundación Vicente Fuentes, presented on Thursday, September 15, the winning works and selected by the jury.
The vernissage will take place at 20.30 hours in the ES / UM, Space for Art, Auditorium Building of the Merced campus, and will remain on display until the 30th of this month.
Among the highlights the work of Victoria prize Miñana (Madrid), 'Apnea I and II', and the honorable mentions 'London Street Fashion' by Elisa Arnaldos (Molina de Segura, Murcia), 'Constructed physiognomies Series' of Ivan Franco (Pontevedra), 'Habitat frame 1, 3 and 4' Sabela Churches (La Coruña) and 'The corporation 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5' created by Victor Vilamajó (Barcelona)
The latest award of Photography at the Fine Arts Hall has had the participation of 77 photographers who have contributed 200 pieces.
Of them have been selected for the jury the 49 works that are now exposed.
The jury, chaired by the Rector José Antonio Cobacho, had the vocal Enrique Martinez Bueso, photographer for the newspaper La Verdad, Javier García Pividal, Photographer, Avelino Meroño Marin, art collector, and professors of the Faculty of Fine Arts Universidad de Murcia Javier Gomez de Segura Hernandez and Domingo García Campillo.
He served as secretary of the jury Carmen Veas Arteseros, head of Cultural Activities.
