Councilmember Equality Policy and Development Cooperation, Alicia Barquero, leading to a conference of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) on the Foreign Action of Local Governments, Murcia experience in this field.
The aim of the conference is to analyze the external action of governments, to study the dynamics of work carried out international cities, deepening of international strategies of cities and disseminate knowledge and practices in relations conduct international governments.
The event will be held from 14 to 16 September in Madrid, and Alicia Barquero present the experience of Murcia tomorrow afternoon, from 16.00.
The City Council will announce the projects of humanitarian aid in natural disasters conducted from Murcia, youth volunteer initiative for cooperation launched in 2008 for youth in the municipality work together in Peru, Paraguay, Bolivia and Morocco awareness projects youth and school, collaboration agreements with AECI, and organizing charity events, among other things.
The conference will deal with the internationalization of cities, territorial marketing, socio-cultural dimension of the international of cities and internationalization strategies.
Professionals across the country cooperation, representatives of municipalities and agencies responsible for working cooperatively, will participate in this initiative.
