Thanks to Marino Marini Foundation of Pistoia (Italy) and the collaboration of the Caja de Ahorros del Mediterraneo in Spain can now enjoy a magnificent collection of sculptures, paintings and drawings.
Marino Marini's collection was first introduced in Spain in an exhibition that will tour the main Spanish cities, among which could not fail to Murcia, a city that has been the cradle of sculptors who have lived and grown up around the wake of the Italian figurative sculpture.
International recognition of Marino Marini is mainly due to his sculptures, which depicts horses and riders, the mythological figure of Pomona, or through portraits of his friends, sometimes great artists like Marc Chagall, Jean Arp.
His talent as a painter is as important as making numerous exhibits showing only part of his artistic production through his drawings and paintings.
Currently his works can be seen in major museums and major collections in the world.
