The rector of the University of Murcia, José Antonio Cobacho, presided over the ceremony of establishment of the External Service of Science and Forensic Techniques, which will promote basic and applied research in this field involving the application of scientific methods to legal issues.

Through the University of Murcia Service offers society specialized expert opinion in relation to the areas (chemistry, medicine, computer science, psychology, etc.). Involved in Forensic Science, while the reports by organizing courses, conferences and qualifications.

Service also will welcome students in the Master's Degree in Forensic Science and other studies to practical work.

The act of incorporation, held at the headquarters of the Senate, attended by members of the Service, which included the director and secretary, teachers and Bartholomew Aurelio Llor Moon, respectively.
