Professionals in vision research show how the visual system and the latest advances in correcting visual defects in the course of the Sea International University Campus Mare Nostrum "vision visual aspects: the centenary of the Nobel Prize to Allvar Gullstrand" , to be held in the town of Eagle during the week of 9 to 13 September.
The activity brings together local and foreign experts in an educational show some of the most important developments taking place now in optometry, contact lens, ophthalmic and physiological optics.
The night light distortion, the gradient of refractive lens, corneal asphericity after refractive surgery, the paradox of the lens or live surgery are some of the themes covered in this course, with the direction of teachers School of Optics at the University of Murcia Norberto López Gil and Francisco Lara Lacárcel.
Also, some talks will be related to the accommodation and the lens to commemorate the centenary of the only Nobel Prize awarded for studies in history in optics eye, awarded in 1911 to Swedish Allvar Gullstrand eye.
