Councilwoman Policies Equality and Development Cooperation, Alicia Barquero, participates today in the "Ruta del Carro" organized by the Federation of Peñas vegetable garden to celebrate the Week of the Garden and the Sea in Los Alcazares.

Barquero, who was Queen of Huerta in 2007, adds to this tradition which is held the weekend before the start of the tournament in Los Alcazares, which this year starts on 12.

About 50 horse-drawn carts and many more people walking, start at 19 pm at the headquarters of the Federation of Peñas vegetable garden, on Avenida Primero de Mayo, to follow the itinerary on the Garruchal, reach the coastal town tomorrow morning.
