The PSOE mayor Garries Andrea visited the pool Ñora, next to the Municipal Socialist Group spokesperson, Pedro Lopez, in a round of visits being made to sports facilities in the municipality.
During the tour, the council found that the pool has a good influx of users and many days full capacity for about 100 people, making it necessary to condition the enclosure to provide the best possible service to swimmers.
Garries remember that the pool of La Ñora was built almost 30 years ago and for the proper functioning of the plant is now a need for a comprehensive rehabilitation.
In addition, some swimmers were moved some complaints about the pavement of the swimming area that appears excessive heat, lack of shaded areas, and the lack of chairs and hammocks, when the pool is at full capacity, many users have to cut down on the floor.
In this sense, the socialist mayor believes that the pool of La Ñora requires a thorough remodeling, especially in the area of ​​the locker room, where l could see some damage: broken doors, cracked floors, very old banks, among other shortcomings.
Therefore, Garries proposed that, in the forthcoming summer season, the Department of Sport launch a renewal of the pool Ñora to open next year in conditions more pleasant for users.
