UPyD considers the area to discuss within the Partial Plan (to the east is the town of Algezares and west of Holy Angel) is capable of expansion.
For the Municipal Group UPyD, the problem is given by the proximity to the protected environment and charismatic Fuensanta sanctuary of the municipality, and the buildable area of 0.4 m2/m2 which includes the partial plan in its entirety.
Spokesman Ruben Juan Serna, considered "buildable too high, and the visual impact will be very large buildings, so UPyD expresses disagreement with the conditioning of the Partial Plan".
Especially considering that there is a difference in headroom in both areas of the Partial Plan around about 15-20 meters between them, which in the opinion of the Municipal Group does not justify a same coefficient in both areas.
Therefore the position of UPyD have been, should have voted on the Plan at the time (May 2011), flatly reject it.
The Municipal suggested in the July Plenum of the plan modification in the sense of reducing the coefficient of floor area in the west (next to Santo Ángel) in order to transform low-density residential to low density, ie: detached houses, with a coefficient of 0.2 m2/m2 as existing ones around, in order to reduce the huge visual impact that will create multi-family housing (4 plants) in the referred area.
