The spokesman of the PSOE, Pedro López, commitment to building a bike path that FICA and the Paseo del Malecon, about a mile and a half long, which runs parallel to the left bank of the river Segura, between avenue Lieutenant Flomesta and Mayor Jorge Palacios, who would join the two existing lanes financed by the Government of Spain through the Plan E on one side, which runs from the end of the Malecon to the Contraparada of 12 miles and on the other , which goes from La Fica up Beniel of 12.7 kilometers.
The implementation of this stretch of bike path, a simple work, according to Lopez, would fill a major route from Beniel La Contraparada with nearly 30 miles of bike lanes.
