The Governing Council has given approval for a grant worth 170,000 euros to the Tourist Consortium 'Murcia Crossroads' for the museological and Consolidation of archaeological remains from the Visitors Center in San Cayetano Monteagudo (Murcia).
The museum project will equip the center of all the elements necessary for visitors to learn about the history of the city through a tour coordinated with the presence of different archaeological pieces.
The project will contextualize through audiovisual and models of different historical periods of the city of Murcia.
The visitor center will be divided into four areas: First Settlements Hall, Room Roman, Arab and Sala Sala de la Huerta.
As for the archaeological material, the discovery, cleaning, preparation, consolidation and interpretation of both the remains Argaric as the Roman road.
