The doctor and the City of Murcia exconcejal Fulgencio Cervantes will be the preacher of the Fiestas de Moros y Cristianos 2011.
The official presentation took place this morning in the city of Murcia in a ceremony that was presided by the Mayor, Miguel Angel House, which was also attended by the president of the Federation of Moros y Cristianos, Alfonso Gálvez, Councilman Rafael Gomez, Moor and Christian kings, Jose Luis Sanz and José Mariano Jiménez, respectively, with the flagship, Virginia Serrano.
The Federation of Moros y Cristianos Murcia continuing its festive calendar, that day also included the presentation of the XXVIII edition of the Journal of the federation, led by Josefa Ballester.
This is a publication which, again, reflects the broad program that the federation of Moors and Christians carried out throughout the year.
Articles, meetings, ceremonies and activities are part of its contents.
The new magazine aims to support that combines the broad activity carried out by one of the most important festive groups of Murcia.
The Moors and Christians will be held from 5 to 12 September, although the traditional medieval dinner will be held on Friday 2.
