"Society today demand healthy and safe food from the health point of view."

The president of the San Antonio Catholic University, José Luis Mendoza, opened the conference accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture of the CARM, Antonio Cerdá, the Deputy Mayor and Delegate of Environment of the City of Murcia, Adela Martinez cache, the director of the company's Technology Based UCAM, Javier Moran, and members of the Panel on Dietetic Products, Nutrition and Allergies of the European Food Safety Agency (EFSA), Sean Strain, and Yolanda Sanz.

José Luis Mendoza stressed technological innovation, quality research and internationalization, as pillars for the UCAM.

"The development of research activity in the area of ​​Clinical Nutrition, Technology, and Food Safety, a very important focus of our investigations," he said.

For its part, the director of the Institute of Food Innovation UCAM, Javier Morán, stressed during the presentation, that this new organ teacher, has the following objectives to promote Research Development and Innovation, to serve society through the company by bringing teaching in universities to the business environment.
