IU-Greens Murcia questions about the development of an agreement with Iberdrola (19/07/2011)

The spokesman for IU-Greens in the city of Murcia, Esther Herguedas, has tabled a question to the House next Friday, July 22, for information on the status of implementation of the agreement signed with Iberdrola to improve electricity distribution in the municipality .

Herguedas recalled that in that agreement, signed in April 2010, "expressed the desire to do improvement works as quickly as possible," but does not set specific deadlines.

The agreement includes the compactness of the substation Espinardo, the burying of power lines that run north and south of the residential Rectors, the suppression of the high tension line that runs through the town of El Palmar.

It also foresees the implementation of a new transformer substation in Patiño and modification of the existing high voltage overhead line between El Palmar and Alhama.
