The City Council is working with firefighters in action to raise funds for its projects in poor countries (18/07/2011)

The Department of Political Equality and Development Cooperation, led by Alicia Barquero, NGOs working with the Fire Action to raise funds for its projects in poor countries.

Barquero held this morning a meeting with the president of Firefighters in Action, Cesar Claros, director of Murcia Hot Rallye, Andres Soto, and the Head of Development Cooperation of the Municipality of Murcia, José Andrés Olmos, for organizing biker lunch in November in Murcia.

The goal is to raise funds for projects in Action Fire takes place in Haiti, where they work in housing reconstruction and assistance to victims of the earthquake and in Nicaragua, Paraguay and El Salvador to provide training to firefighters area, performance of disaster prevention, water purification, etc..

Lunch will be hosted by Fire biker in Action, in collaboration with the Municipality of Murcia and Murcia Hot Rally.
