Ecuador in Murcia is set to create a tourism consortium that promotes the country (16/07/2011)

Councilmember Development Cooperation, Alicia Barquero, held a meeting with the Director General of Tourism, Enrique Ujaldón

Murcia City Council, through the Department of Development Cooperation, who leads Alicia Barquero, working with a project of the Spanish Agency for International Development (AECI) in order to launch a tourism consortium in Ecuador to promote the country.

This project is part of the initiative Municipia, for Ecuador.

Alicia Waterman met with the Director General of Tourism of the Autonomous Community, Enrique Ujaldón to exchange information about the project and organize a commission to visit Ecuador on the Region 17 to October 23, to know the Tourist Consortia Murcia and Cartagena.

In addition, the Development Cooperation Edil keep next Thursday in Madrid a meeting with project managers Municipality and the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) to further advance this initiative.
