The Municipal Unión Progreso y Democracia Murcia City Council has filed a motion for the next plenary session in which it was agreed to enable media for recording, transmission and storage of plenary sessions on the municipal website.
Measure has a low cost, and a great benefit to the municipality.
The proposal in the manifesto with which UPyD presented in the last elections, is aimed at the citizens know how to discuss municipal affairs, and is, in the words of spokesman, Ruben Juan Serna, "a measure of transparency and participation, it will allow residents to know how to decide issues that affect them, not just in the moment, but when they want "because it is intended that the sessions are stored and retrieved on demand through streaming technology.
The measure, which will be presented in all the municipalities in which UPyD is represented, has been adopted correctly by institutions like the City of Barcelona and Malaga, or the Assembly of Madrid and the Government Navarro Serna so confident that this proposal is approved at the next plenary, which will complement other initiatives of the Department of New Technologies.
