The University of Murcia has signed an agreement with the rectors of the universities in the Colombian Caribbean for the joint execution of activities of educational and scientific exchange of teachers and students.
The collaboration was signed in the building of Convalescence by the rector of the University of Murcia, José Antonio Cobacho, and the rector of the Universidad del Atlántico, Ana Sofía Mesa Crow, who signed on behalf of the Caribbean SUE, the system integrates as mentioned previously, universities Colombian Cartagena, Córdoba, Guajira, Magdalena, Sucre, Cesar Popular.
The professor of the Faculty of Education and promoter of the agreement, Fuensanta Hernández Pina, referred to the possibility of extending the collaboration with the Caribbean from Colombia to other faculties of the University of Murcia, which may thus benefit from the content of the agreement: training teams, students research internships, exchange of publications and joint organization of conferences and symposia.
The chancellor stressed Cobacho the effort made by the University of Murcia and close to the Latin American world, in particular, to Colombia, which highlighted the "extraordinary leap researcher" has occurred in recent years.
José Antonio Cobacho also had words of praise for the Faculty of Education, "has strong research groups and is a dynamic center and connected to social reality," he said, as dean, Concepcion Martin, attended the signing ceremony.
