The regional government has approved 3.4 million euros allocated to the University of Murcia (UMU) to finance investment expenditure on infrastructure, equipment and other investments Campus Health Sciences.
This budgetary allocation to the Ministry of Universities, Business and Research will be used to undertake the costs associated with the building department.
Campus Health Sciences was created to unify the UMU degrees this university who teaches health and will be located in an area of ​​the city environment Sanitaria Virgen de la Arrixaca.
This location will allow the pooling of clinical studies and basic health sciences, which optimize the use of resources.
Thus, the teaching clinics will be held at the hospital, as usual, and the work of teaching and research techniques are performed in the new building.
